Oasis Garment Co., Ltd (Viet Nam) joins hands to share difficulties with earthquake victims in Turkey
As advised by friends that there was an earthquake in Turkey, thought at first of another mild call. No one could imagine that one of the strongest in the century did took place, Almost 13 Million people woke up to death, see their loved ones lost, their lives were shaken.
We could not do much thousand of miles away except to pray and humbly donate money till the opportunity initiated by Turkish Airlines came our way.
My team, watching footages of people left homeless in freezing weather with almost no warm, pushed with such an extraordinary will to locate every single jacket suitable for extreme cold weathers in the factory , stripped them of branded trims if any and checked for the final time before packing.
This lasted many days mostly overnight and through Sunday, with dedication to prepare ready at once.
Just to show me and my country people that they are devastated but they are not alone.
